Name Cards and Sticker Designs
For myself in this case. Japan is the land of the Name Card, and you need one to exchange when meeting someone, and I have met a fair few people this year and I didn't have a card. These are standard Japanese business cards 55mmx91mm and I used Stickerjapan. Made up 55mmx80mm matte paper stickers to give away as well, that indicate in a cartoon what I do now. Just a bit of fun. I made the stickers small so that they can go in the same business card holder and be carried around too. I produced .ai Illustrator files to the templates they provide that incorporates THE SAFE AREA, OUTLINE and BLEED required.

Raptor Painted Toyota 4WD
Toyota 4WD finished in a tough matte, bumpy, RAPTOR paint finish. Bumpy isn't the kind of finish, like metal flake, that vector illustration does very well, so it was done as an extra step in Photoshop. Reference photos had blue sky reflected in everything, so that is how I did my initial version, but the cutomer wanted it all without that. Which do you prefer?

A Vector One Color Realistic Design for use in a Logo. Unfortunately the customer didn't like the final result, which is very strange, as we have a multi-step process, where each stage is agreed too as the way to go, before moving to the next one.
This customer wasted much time, wanting something he agreed to in a previous stage changed, after given the opportunity to comment at the time. I wouldn't have done the refined people, which I think add to the design a lot. When I asked for clarification, as their email didn't make sense, they just replied "Read it again!". That is just being a total dick.
It is a great design though. I guess in doing many hundreds of designs, you find someone just wanting to screw around with you, and has the money to pay for it. A pity. Remember, you are paying for my time. Don't be a Paula.
